Heads up, legends: all of the challenges on the Summer Sundown reward tracker are currently only counting Battle Royale match progress. Of course for many of the rewards there’s the option of simply purchasing them from the in-game shop. Even worse, due to the short length of the event, it’s simply not possible to employ a fix before it ends, so players will have to consign themselves to only doing the battle royale mode to complete the event’s challenges.
While originally the event was meant to be open to both arena mode and battle royale mode, it seems a bug has resulted in arenas being accidentally cut out of the action. However, as alluded to above, it seems this latest Apex Legends event has been hit with a bug. With a start date of July 5th, it provides players only a week to earn rewards, complete challenges or purchase event-exclusive skins from said shop. It also gives the in-game store a colourful cosmetic makeover for the event’s duration. This event, the first in the game’s run to be open to its battle royale mode as well as its arena mode, offers daily challenges and free rewards until July 12th. Moreover, this map is the first of the highest night maps in any Apex game, so we can’t wait to see how that turns out in terms of gameplay.The Summer Sundown Flash Event in Respawn Entertainment’s hit battle royale hero-shooter Apex Legends has an unfortunate bug turn up, as announced on the studio’s official Twitter page.
